Hello all

I didn't get any error messages, but the DVDs I've made from Photo
Story files don't work correctly: After ca. 20 seconds of each
slideshow it skips, and the first 20 seconds of next show begins etc.
etc.

Is this a known issue?

I still haven't found a way to make DVDs out of my Photo Story
productions.

Any help appreciated!

This is confusing...first you state that your
PhotoStory DVDs don't play correctly...
and next you state that you cannot create
a DVD from a PhotoStory file.

You need DVD Authoring software that is
compatible with .wmv files. (NeroVision
for example) (personally...I've had good
results with WinDVD Creator)

Good luck.

Sorry if I was not clear:

Everything seems to work fine when I process and burn the Photo Story
files (Nero), and the resulting DVD is OK too, apart from the fact
that the DVDs display only ca. 20 seconds from each show. It jumps
from the first 20 seconds of the first show to the first 20 seconds of
the next show and so on.

I've put 8 shows on one DVD, and I don't see why it shouldn't work.
There is space left too.

I'm guessing your PhotoStorys play
correctly on your computer?

I'm not much help on this one...
Maybe different software or different
media would produce a better result.

Maybe someone else will offer
something more useful.

Most DVD authoring software
offers a trial version.

Roxio, ProShow Gold, WinDVD, Ulead...

Frys.com is offering 'Sony Vegas
Movie Studio 8' free this week
(Free after rebates if you have a
qualifying product)

Good luck.

If the shows all play fine when viewed on your computer before being burned
by nero, then when burned to the disc you have a problem, it is the way you
made the disc using nero, or the way nero has burned the disc, so check out
nero's tutorials on their site for more help.

Also, make a copy of the dvd on your hard disc with nero, making dvd folders
and then try to play those on your computer dvd playing software. If these
play ok then it could be that the disc or way you've burned it is not
compatible with the player.

DVD has standards that need adhereing to to get best compatibility with
players, and the older the player the worse they are.
