Photo Story -- corrupt file message

Twice while using Photo Story I was unable to save my project and received a
corrupt file message. This error causes only half of the project to be
saved. I scanned all the photos in the same way. So what causes the corrupt
file? And how do I determine which file is corrupt?

The message also suggests that I reinstall Photo Story. But past experience
tells me that Photo Story had a problem with a photo I scanned and the
program was ok.

Thanks

Might be worth a try to use fewer images in
the project. If smaller projects save successfully,
you could try using Movie Maker to join them
into one file.

It can't be a size problem. I just tried importing only 10 jpgs into photo
story and I received the same error message. For some reason, there are
scanned photos that are interpreted as corrupt. However, I can import the
same photos into wmm without a problem.

Any idea what the cause is or how I can isolate which jpg is the problem?

Which version of PhotoStory are you using?
Reinstalling PhotoStory might be worth a try.

OK...I don't know what is causing this issue but
I would try converting the .jpgs to .bmps and see
if they would import into PhotoStory.

If that fails...try importing one image file and see
if you receive an error.

Do you run Disk Cleanup, Error Checking and
Defrag on a regular schedule?
