photo story 3 picture quality

I am trying to create a slide show in photo story 3 from digital photos that
I ultimately want to save to play on a DVD player. When I save my story for
a dvd, the quality of the photo deteriorates badly. Is there a way around
this problem?

I want to save my story to dvd using nero express. Is this the best
alternative?

C:\Program Files\Photo Story 3 for Windows\Profiles\1033

All I can say is experiment. I created some
VCDs with Nero Express and they won't
play in my Toshiba DVD player. I created
VCDs from the same videos using a program
called InterVideo WinDVD Creator and
they play fine.

Seems like each individual has different
experiences.
