Photo Slideshow with Movie Maker

I am making a photo slideshow in Moviemaker. For some reason when I preview
the slideshow the photo only stays up for 1 second, even though my default is
set for 5 seconds. I was wondering if it will be normal when I publish the
movie and put it on the DVD or will it still be flying through the pictures?
 
It will stay the same I suspect.
Have you transitions?
How long are these?
If you expand the timeline, does the picture take up 5 seconds on it?
What are all your file types in your slideshow?
 
THe files are all JPEGS. When I go in and make it longer and try to watch
it, it still only stays up for one second.

Once you publish the movie, can you still go back and make changes?
 
Jpegs often cause problems, so try it with bitmaps.

You can't change a made movie easily, it's like baking a cake, once all the
ingredients are mixed and cooked you'll take forever to remove one of them
if you can at all. But your project will remain editable.
