Hi,
Can anyone suggest a good Photo-Retoucher. It will be used for
retouching old B&W / Sepia photos that are in a poor condition. Many
have cracks, small rips and pieces missing.
TIA
Tom

You can do simple stuff with Irfanview by just selecting and copying a
tiny piece of the picture that is clean and pasting it over the rip or
crack. I do this all the time and it turns out fine but it's SLOW.

For more advanced stuff, you will need a real paint program like Gimp
or PhotoFiltre (both free) or PhotoPlus (register/keyedware from
freeserifsoftware.com)

Retouching photos is an art that takes lots of skill, patience, and
practice. Good luck.
