Does anyone else have problem printing pictures using Adobe PhotoShop on
Cannon IP4000? I'm using the PhotoShop Starter Edition 3.0 and the prints
look terrible (too much color and the black ink doesn't look right). I
didn't find any print setting in PhotoShop.

And yet other softwares print fine on the same machine and same printer
setting.

Thanks for any help!

I don;t use it to print but when you press print in the menu does a
box open which has the name of the printer and, to the right of that a
button saying 'properties'? If you go into properties you should be
able to adjust your printing there

It has been a while, but my recollection is that Photoshop has print models
of either RGB or CMYK. While the printer actually uses CMYK inks, the print
driver is set up to expect RGB data. Selecting CMYK in Photoshop will
result in badly oversaturated prints.

Thanks for the info. But I couldn't find any place in the Photoshop where I
can change this setting. May be because it's the Free Starter Edition?
