Photo on CDs

when putting photos on cd most will play in DVD player.
But some wont play. I put my photos on and the first 50 or
so worked fine then it just stopped froze on DVD player.
Then went pass the photo and it worked fine then it just
stopped again

Is it possible that some of the files are in a format
the DVD player is not compatible with?

I have all the photo in the jpeg format. but maybe I will
try and rescan some. Thanks any other Idea?

If these are scans...maybe the file size is too large.

It may be worth a try to resize the images that are
causing a problem in the DVD player.
