All photo management programs I try (HP, Canon, Dell image expert) and any PDF file I try to down load cause my computer to give me a send error report message and shut down the program I am trying to run. Any help you can give this novice would be appreciated. Thanks, Garry

The error messages are important and they are clues for tracking down the
problem. Use Event Viewer (start> run> eventvwr.msc) to get more detailed
error messages. After Event Viewer is up and running, double click on any
item marked as an error to read the details. Without these details, it's
impossible to even guess at what the problem might be.

NOTE: For PDF files, you may want to try saving the files to your hard
drive. Then open them in Acrobat Reader. To do this: right click on the
internet URL for the PDF file and select Save File As. Use the Save dialog
box to choose a location to download the file to. When the download has
finished, double click the PDF to open it in the Reader. Using this method
you can bypass the (sometimes buggy) browser plugin that opens the PDF file
in an Internet Explorer window.
