i am having a problem setting passport photographs to the
specification for immigration visa lottery that i want
fill out for people in africa.
the instructions reads, "if the image is created by
scanning a photographic print the original print must
have been 2" by 2"(50mm by 50mm), andthe scan must be
performed at resolution of 150 dots per inch(dpi); the
image must have a resolutionof 300 by 300 pixels, with
either 24-bits of color or 8-bits of gray. the image can
not exceed 62,500 bytes(62.5KB)in size.
the scanner i am using is compaq A1500-all-in-one
printer.
i need to to know if my can do it and if not can i do
the setting on the net through photoisland website?

You'll have to read the manual that came with the All in One unit and find
out how to change the scanning options on that unit. If you do not have
one, you can probably download a PDF of it from www.hp.com
