I'm trying to add photo's to my website, but for some reason after it's
published, I don't see a picture but the link. I see the picture fine
when I preview.

Please help

Import your images into FP first, then create the gallery.

I did that and I either still see a link on one of my pages or now no
picture or link showing at all on my other page. I'm so confused. I
don't know what I'm doing wrong. The preview page shows everything
right.

Preview is an illusion...forget that right now.

Sounds like you're not working with a website opened. Outline the exact
steps you took/take to create your gallery.

What's the URL?

Welp, for starters you host requires index.html as your home page, and you
have your Home button linked to index.htm so fix your link to index.html.

As far as the Photogallery is concerned, it's usually easier to redo it than
try to fix it. So make sure you're working with your local web/site opened
and delete the current gallery off that page and just redo it (the images
will still be in your images folder) so this should be easy.

Save

Then go to Tools | REcalculate Hyperlinks.

Then RE-Publish your local to remote.

| My URL is www.porcelaincakes.com.

| It was working fine a few weeks back, until I changed the background
| and fonts and now I have no idea what happened.

How do I change it to index.html?

What do you mean "make sure you're working with your local web/site
opened"?

Sorry, if I sound dumb.

Thanks for all your help.

Rename you file index.htm to index.html in your local FP site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks, then republish

I renamed the index to html.

I'm still having trouble with my photo gallery. I can't post any. When
I publish it their not there. The picture you see on the net doesn't
show up on FP at all. I don't even know where that's coming from.

Now I'm having another problem where my other pages won't go to home.
It says page can not be found.

Yep, that's because that nav link goes to index.htm you need to change it to
index.html

I made a recommendation earlier on the photogallery...delete it off the page
and redo it.

Switch to Split View when viewing your designed page.

Somewhere around line 40 you will see:
<a style="text-decoration: none" href="index.htm">
change it to
<a style="text-decoration: none" href="index.html">

You will need to change index.htm to index.html on every page - it may
appear on different lines on different pages.

Then Save All the pages.
Then Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks
Then Re-Publish to your remote server.

|I di your recommendation and it didn't work.
