Photo gallery problems with Netscape

I've tried a photogallery on a second website now.

In both cases, I seem to have trouble with viewing the images with Netscape
7. I thought it was only with the slide bar not working properly but both
can't display the full image when I click on the thumbnail

Does anyone have experience with the photogallery OK working with Netscape
--- or do I need to find a more generic solution?

Thanks for any feedback that can help me get to the bottom of this.

How large are the actual picture files? If they're larger
than the Nestcape window, that could be the reason.

IE has a feature that reduces the size of pictures that
are too large to fit on screen. Netscape, to my
knowledge, doesn't have this feaure, at least in older
versions.

If this is indeed the reason, there's no simple fix other
than reducing the original pictures size.

The FP slideshow JavaScript script does not support NN7 (or any NN version)
(all the functions are written unique to IE browsers level 4+ )
