Photo Gallery Overall Size

I have been using FP 2003 for quite sometime. I have a specific amount of
space I want to add the slide show photo gallery into. Is there a way to
decrease the size of the overall gallery?

Use an image editor to resize / resample the original images.
This will reduce the actual size of the image files.

The free IrfanView will do this for you.
