Photo Gallery captions

I type the caption for the Photo Gallery picture in the
space indicated, click OK, but no caption appears. What
else needs to be done?

Are you using the Montage layout?

Captions and Descriptions never appear in that layout. If
you want captions and descriptions, you'll have to choose
a different layout.

No, I have used only vertical and horizontal.

I spent some time researching this and found several reports of it
happening. In no case, however, was there a specific solution. Some
suggestions, all quirky, were:

o Delete the Photo Gallery and create it from scratch.
o Always add pictures to your Web first, and *then* add them to the
Photo
Gallery.
o After adding each picture, save the entire page containing
the Photo Gallery.
