Hello.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of a line/crack in a photo that
goes over someones face? I believe it is from some sort of bad
reflection. Is it possible to do it somehow and leave the faces
normal?

Would you do this by just copying and pasting areas from other parts
of the face over the crack in the photo? Or is there a software
program that has a special option to do this?

You would "clone" (duplicate pixel areas) from closely adjacent areas
onto the bad parts.

Photoshop/Elements/PhotoPaint/PaintShopPro/etc.

I was faced with the very same problem when putting a family photo
online. What I did was use the "cloning" tool in Paint Shop Pro. It
worked perfectly to the point that you couldn't even tell there was a
"crack" in the photo. I'm sure that Photoshop has a comparable tool
for this as well.

If you have Photoshop, the cloning tool might do the job. For better
results, just remember to click, rather than drag the mouse as you
clone. If you have Photoshop v. 7 or later, the healing brush might do
an even better job, depending on the tone and texture of the
surrounding area.
