photo downloaded to my pictures also show up in desktop

naytime I down load a photo to the "my pictures" folder
it also is placed into the display properties desktop.

How can I stop this?

The fact that all images saved in My Pictures
are available in the WinXP Desktop background
list is by design. The simple solution is to move
the images to a different folder.
