i am running x.p. with photoshop seven, how do i put a photograph into a
document? thanks for any advice that may be forthcoming.

Save your photoshop image in a format supported by the document type.
Example: Open an existing image. Use File> Save As. In the dialog box that
appears, change the extension in the "format" box to .jpg You will now
have two image files: The original (a photoshop file if the extension was
not changed) and the newly saved .jpg file.
Open the document and use this program's menus to "insert image." Check the
program's help files for directions if there are no obvious tools for
accomplishing the addition. In one of the steps, you'll be prompted to
select a file, select the new .jpg file. NOTE: Most programs will allow you
to drag and drop an image file into the document window.
