Thank you. That worked. Maybe if Kevin Spencer had read my original
question
as thoroughly as you must have he could have answered correctly too. Or,
perhaps he just didn't know the answer. The very first question you asked
was:
"Is it possible to put a caption (similar to what you might see in a
newspaper or magazine) directly under a photo using FP 2002? I've tried
every way I can think of but no joy! Thanks."
Kathleen, Steve, and Thomas all answered that question, exactly as you asked
it. You followed up with:
"Thanks, but then how can I get the text to wrap around the photo the same
way that if wraps around a photo without a caption?"
The "but" in there indicates a contradiction. In other words, you were not
satisfied with the answers you received. I replied:
"Your question was how to put text "directly under" the image. Not how to
wrap it."
This was completely correct, and the intention was to help you by
instructing you how to ask correctly in order to get the best answer to your
questions. Your question had been answered. I could tell you about 10 ways
to achieve what you wanted, but the answers given already were sufficient,
although you implied that they were not by your contradiction.
Now, if you want to absolve yourself of responsibility for asking amiss,
that is your prerogative. However, I certainly did nothing to deserve your
back-handed remarks directed publicly at myself.
If you want to be successful in life, learn to take responsibility for your
own mistakes. And don't bite the hand that feeds you. None of us MVPs get
paid for helping people like yourself. We do it out of the goodness of our
hearts. And you've certainly destroyed any williness to help you in the
future as far as I'm concerned. Burn enough bridges, and eventually you will
find yourself on the edge of a precipice with no bridges left to get you
across.

Not only did I read your question correctly, but I just re-read the entire
thread, to make sure that you hadn't at some point originally asked the
question that you claim you asked at the beginning.
