I've just upgraded to Outlook from Outlook Express (version 6.0). In my old Express attached files, usually photos, would show up below the message text in the window that you would normally reads the email message in. Now with Outlook the photo attachments are shown in the attachment window put the photo files are not opened anymore in the reading window below the email text. I would like to be able to see the attached pictures/files below the message text but could not find out how to do it. Any help greatly appreciated.

Outlook handles graphics differently. Unless the sender embedded the image
file in an HTML or Rich Text message, they will show up as attachments.

Hi - yes, it's true, as I stated. OE handles things differently as it is a different program.

Best to keep posts in the newsgroups so everyone can particpate.

Hey, thanks for the post.

Are you telling me that it is not possible to have the attached photo open
in the reading window of the email in Outlook as it does automatically in
Outlook Express? It seems to me this would not be practical because unlike
Outlook Express one would have to open each attached picture or file
individually in order to see them where as in Express you just have to
scroll down to see the attached pics. What do you think?
