I have created a photo album in PowerPoint 2007 and have animated all
pictures, now when I add a slide and hit update all those animations are
gone. How do I get those back without having to go through 21 slides and
re-animate? Thanks.

Oh I saved an earlier version, that wasn't the problem. the problem was when
I added slides to the earlier version and hit the update key - all animations
were gone. So even though I had an earlier version, that version didn't have
all the slides I wanted in it. But I finally did find a way to add slides
and not lose the animations!

Please share the way you found.

This is what I did.

I had my original photo album open, minimized that and then created another
photo album with the pictures I thought I wanted to add to the original. I
then saved the second (actually I called it album 2). Went back to the first
album and clicked on new slide. At the bottom I clicked on reuse slides and
opened the second album. I inserted the images I wanted into the first album
and all my animations in the original stayed in place. Of course I had to
animate the new pics I brought in, but it was much easier than trying to
reanimate 20 something slides.

Excellent. Thanks for sharing.
