I am working for a company that uses Phoneslips as their
contact manager and messages. I would like to be able to
transfer all of the information from Phoneslips into
Outlook 2000. Is there a way to do that? Will it require
an add on in Outlook? I am going to be running an Exchange
2003 server off of a Windows 2000 network, if that helps
any.

OK, I guess my question is which data formats can
Outlook handle? Then I can talk to Phoneslips about what
type of data format they are in.

You can see the list by running the File | Import and Export wizard and
choosing to import a file.

Are there any knowledge base articles that would help
also? I see the import file in the wizard but I am still
a little unclear.

Confused about what? The "Select file type to import from" list is pretty
self-explanatory.

I can export and save the Phoneslips data file as a .txt
file. So how would I then go in and import it into
Outlook? I din't see a .txt file in the import/export
wizard as an option.

Comma-delimited and tab-delimited are both text files. Which is Phoneslips?
If necessary, open it in Notepad or Word and massage it.
