Refunds to viewers ripped off in phone quiz scandal

GMTV last night pledged to hand back cash to viewers conned out of £40million in its phone scam.​

Bosses apologised for the scandal, suspended its competition lines and dumped Opera Interactive Technology, the firm which ran the services.​

And they insisted they knew nothing about the con. A statement said: "We are determined to reimburse viewers who believe they have lost out."​

Opera chief Gary Corbett last night refused to comment on the scandal.​

My advice would be don,t even bother ringing in these con and all are misleading.​

The mint or quizmania one was funny, could u get that word.​

I've always said that instead of playing these types of competitions youd have a better chance of winning playing the national lotteryand at least some of the money goes to good causes .
