phone numbers lose format on reports

In the table the phone number appears as (999) 000-0000
and if i create a report using the wizard it appers
correct. If I use the query input alone the phone numbers
are ok. But if I print them using the query into the
report some of the phones are okay and others have no
formating at all instead of (123) 456-7890 some print as
1234567890. Any ideas?

Have you looked at the Format property of the Text Box on the Report where
you are displaying the numbers? Try using a Format in that property.
