Phone number Formats

Is there a way in Outlook to format a phone number so that my Blackberry
knows when I am in my home area code. I get error messages when it dials my
area code.
 
Enter your phone numbers in Outlook in full international format. For US
numbers, that format is: +1 (aaa) nnn-nnnn. Make sure to include the "+".
They should then get synced in this format to your Blackberry. If your
carrier is a GSM carrier, then the phone numbers will automatically get
dialed correctly, regardless of the location where you are making the call
from.
