phone Icon next to the envelope

I nned help to correct my out look I am receiving messages on my email but
they are not showing on the dropdown on my out look. I click on the send and
receive button and it does not do anything. I have some messages with a
little phone icon next to the little envelope on the left next to the message

what type of email account?

if it’s the icon I think, it means 'work offline, mark for download'.
