If I wish to check mail, Outlook Express 6 default, while running IE6, the
phone connection will fail . If OE6 is started by itself, the dial-up starts
up and the mail recieved, but again, if I want to check mail during a session
on IE, invoking outlook will kill the connection. How do you set things so
the connection stays alive while on IE?
Thanx

From: http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/disconnect.htm

In OE go to Tools | Accounts and do the following for each mail and news
account:

Double click the account.
Go to the Connection tab.
Uncheck "Always connect to this account using:".

Apparently OE can't check to see what account you are connected through, so
it closes the connection and then reconnects the one you told it to use just
to be safe.
