Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a Phaser 8400, and have some questions. Well,
for starters, what kind of quality should I expect from this printer?

Is it good? (say, comparable to photos in magazines like "economist"
magazines, or maybe just the "reader's digest" photo print quality)

Also, since it prints with crayon ink, then what will happen if i
folder/bend the paper? Would the crayon crack and drop off?

Overall I think this seems like quite a great printer, but I can't
seem to find the B version here in Australia, so looks like I will
have to get an N.

That's all =)

All comments welcome!

I have the 8200, the 8400's predecessor, and it does produce quite a
nice glossy output, I haven't noticed any ink coming off after paper
gets folded. Because of the wax ink method its not ideal for laminating
but you can just about get away with it if you can vary the temperature
on your laminator and set it as low as possible. Whoever you are buying
from should be able to provide you with some sample output.
