Phantom Calendar in PST Files

Hello, I am using O2K3 on an MS Exchange Server and I was wondering if there
would be some reason for a Calendar to just suddenly show up in my PST files
and then that Calendar become my default calendar?

To Describe my situation I have Three PST files... One Called "Inbox" and
it is where all my email is delivered to instead of my actual Exchange Server
Mailbox. This is also the desired Default location of my Calendar as it has
been for more than a year. The other two PST files are basically separate
storage repositories, however, one of them I have my meeting invites get
moved to upon receipt via a rule.

A month ago the PST that was housing the Meeting
Requests/Confirmations/Rejections/Replies and the like, suddenly and all on
it's own had a Calendar inside of it and that calendar became the default
calendar. This made me miss a lot of meetings for a week until I figured it
out. The ONLY way I could fix it was to create another PST and move all the
files there -- minus the Calendar.

Now "That" PST file mysteriously has a Calendar of it's own AND it somehow
has made itself the default calendar.

Does anyone know why this is happening and/or how I can stop this from
happening to the new PST file that I just created..... yet again?

Thank You Very Much In Advance!

Cheers,
Rob

The best fix is to use the Exchange mailbox as the default message store and
use rules to move mail to the PST. Storing calendar in a PST defeats one
purpose of having Exchange - free/busy and scheduling.

Note I don't recommend moving mail to a PST - Exchange offers better options
for accessing mail when away, recovering deleted mail, and applying
archiving/retention policies.
