PFN LIST CORRUPT

While working on this windows 2000 pc, with all latest
updates, I am getting error "PFN LIST CORRUPT
0x00000004E". And occasionally this computer comes
up "erasing hard drive" blue screen of death. This is a
heavy used engineering computer and is critical and vital
to our organization functionality. HELP !!!

Are you using anything like DriveImage or Norton Ghost?

I've has the same trouble some time ago when when I ran the kernel
dump file (the 64Kb sized one) through the debugger I noticed that the
computer was crashing at a low lever driver used by a securoty feature
of DriveImage 7. I uninstalled DriveImage and my XP installation has
been operating rock steady since.

If you have it, and would feel up to it, you can e-mail to me your
mini crash dump file and I will either give you as hint where the
fault it, tell you that the fault it, or remain as clueless as you are
now.
