pfd format

why can i not open something in pdf format? It shows it is loading the page
then I get a white screen and at the bottom it says unkniwn zine, I have
downloaded the latest version of adobe reader HELP...thank you

Your Windows version is?

Use Adobe's repair feature in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
If no joy - uninstall it and reinstall a fresh copy.

*Uncheck* - Adobe Yahoo Toolbar (unless you implicitly want it)
*Uncheck* - Adobe Photo Shop Album Starter Edition - ditto, as above.
