Sorry if this has already been posted, but a quick google search did
not show it in the Access newsgroups.

A nice sentiment, but... I've been working with Microsoft development tools
for more than 20 years. I've yet to see the slightest indication that
they've ever been influenced by this sort of thing. They own the market.
They produce what they want to.
 
I agree entirely. And the # of signees is not earth-shattering - it
needs a few more 0's on the end! But there's nothing to lose by
signing, IMO.
