Somebody had the idea to start this petition, and when they get 10,000 signatures they are going to send it to Nvidia.
I doubt anything will arise from this, but I hate it that masses of people have been left expected to buy a whole new system for the sake of upgrading their graphics card. Its likely that a big part of nVidia's reasoning behind not releasing an AGP version was merely to make everyone feel it was necessary to buy an nForce4 board. Considering 6800ultra's run at exactly the same speed on either format, you'd expect a 7800gtx to at least run very nearly as quickly on AGP.
