I have Microsoft Digital Image Suite Anniversary Edition and I need
to learn on how to remove that "devolish red eye" from some pictures
of my cat.
Is there a tool about that? I can only find how to fix red eye for
humans but it will not work on pets.
Thank you in advance for your response
===============================
I wrote the following tutorial for DIS9 but
the basic steps should work for DIS2006.
This happens on some images, there's
no adjustment or quick fix.
In extreme cases I've even resorted to
replacing eyes with cutouts from an image
of the same subject that did not exhibit
redeye.
I use Digital Image Pro 9, hopefully your
version has the following features:
As a work around, it might be worth a try
to go to...
Effects / Paint Brush / Freehand...
Zoom in on the eyes so you can see
exactly what's happening.
#1) Choose Airbrush
#2) Choose Black
#3) Choose the Brush size closest to the
size of the pupil.
Now, click your Customize button...
Choose the round brush with the faded
edge....set the transparency slider on 75.
One or two clicks on each pupil should
make an improvement.
Click the arrow to the left of the Cancel
button to go back to the previous screen.
If the white Reflection/Sparkle in the eye
is covered by the color, you should be
able to replace it with your Clone Brush.
FWIW, this also works on the green color
in animal eyes.
