Pesty desktop shortcut will not delete

I get this message when I try to delete or move this
desktop shortcut:"Cannot delete file: The filename you
specified is invalid or too long. Specify a new filename."
The file is called: "Clearlake Excecutive Home - 1st

Have you tried opening a CMD prompt and typing:

del "%Userprofile%\desktop\Clearlake Excecutive Home*.lnk"
