Startup is always halted by a warning panel that says, "Loading error -
C:\windows\system32\MSA32-CHK.dll"

I click OK and everything procedes normally. But I would like to get rid of
this thing. How do I do it?

I have WinXP Home Edition Version 5.1.2600, Service Pack 1, Compilation 2600

Apparently this file is a leftover of spyware. Can only find vague
references (no mention of what it belongs to) but all threads lead back to
spyware and a recommendation to use AdAware to complete the cleanup. Link
