I'm running XP Professional. I'd like to remove the pesky
Outlook icon from my desktop, but when I start to delete
it I get a warning saying that the icon provides "special
functionality" and a suggestion that I leave it as is.
I don't see any reason for it, since it's nailed to the
left column of the Start menu; and if I ever want to put
it back, I don't see why that would be a problem (would
it? maybe there's a trick to it?).
Can someone advise me whether I can remove it without
disaster striking, and whether there's any trick to
putting it back?
Thanks.
