PES3 DVD plays slow... why?

I have purchased PES3 for DVD and for some reason the game plays very slowly... I have a 1.7GHz CPU, 1.3GB RAM and a 30GB HDD. I have the latest Direct X 9.0, up-to-date DVD driver, 64MB nVidea graphics card (driver up-to-date). All other driver's (mouse, keyboard etc.) are up-to-date

The wierdest thing about the speed is that the game acts as if it is in "slow motion", it isn't jumpy which would indicate memory, but the performance is still better if I tone down on the detail. But with my specs, I should be able to run the game at maximum with ease, yet this is happeneing...

Any ideas how increase the performance, maybe through game options or fine tuning my graphics accelerator etc.???

Thanks in advance for any response....

Hi Kevin,

You have a lot of RAM however your CPU isn't very powerful
and the Video card might be in that same category as well. What
type of 64 MB nVidia graphics card did you install on your system?
