Whenever I put a program in the recycle bin on my
personal desktop, it changes on all the others. I'm on
limited account. How can I throw something away without
it leaving another person's desktop?

Tiffany, delete the shortcut, not the program. Do it the way Doug wrote.

| You have to make sure that the file or shortcut you're deleting is in
|
| Documents and Settings\<your username>\Desktop
|
| and not in
|
| Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
|
| If its in the latter folder, then deleting it for one user will delete it
| for all users.

This is in addition to the other advice you're getting. If you're
absolutely positive that you won't want the program again, you can
bypass the recycle bin by holding down shift at the same time as you
click delete.
