Personalizing email to a distribution list

Sorry if this topic has been covered before. I would like
to send an email to my distribution list (just an email
without any attachments). How can I send an email to each
member of the distribution list (instead of one email to
all) and also have for example their individual name (not
the group name) used in the email in addressing etc. Some
other tools do this with mailmerge feature and using a
word processor.

Appreciate any advice.

That requires a mail merge. Mail merges cannot use DL's.
Outlook uses Word for performing mail merge functions such as Form Letters,
mailing labels, envelopes, and fax or email merges. For an overview of these
