personalized menus do no turn on

I have turned on Personalized menus, and it been for two months now but I
still get the full menu. How long does it take for the 'personalized' effect
to kick in? Is
there any known conflicts?

Using Microsoft Vista Premium.

I'm running SP1 and I don't see that option in the Properties of the start
menu, do you?

Yes. If you goto start menu Properties then select Start Menu, select
Customize and scroll to the bottom of Options it the last listing.

I would try turning off the setting, restart, and turn it back on.

I'm having exactly the same problem and I've been googling for it for months
now, but so far, no solution.. Mybe there'n applicaton being an ass..

I'm running NOD32 as a virusscanner.. how about you?
I've allready had a problem with NOD32 screwing with the snmp service, so
maybe it's allso screwing with this?
