Personal Folders

I recently had to reinstall XP on the same hard drive.
The installation went smoothly except that now I can't
access my old folder which I had password protected. Is
there a way that I can re-access this folder? I remember
my password, but I think the location of that password
file was probably lost when XP reloaded. Can I re-create
the password file to allow access?
 
sorry its gone, unless you can still boot to the old version of XP and
unprotect it there.
