personal file folders & address book

Two questions for Outlook 2002:

I have two identical personal file folders --- duplicate
inboxes, etc. All information within is identical as
well. How do I delete one of these?

Also, Microsoft Word's "address book" is confused:
Outlook Address book is empty.

I tried the KB fix (deleting the registry key) for Word
but that didn't do anything.

Thanks.

R click the folder you no longer want > Close.

What KB fix did you use? There was nothing to fix. The Outlook Address Book
should be empty. Select the Contacts Folder, not the Outlook Address book in
that dropdown.

You can R click and close any Personal Folders file that is not your
default. You cannot have more than one Personal Folders file as a default.
Perhaps you should provide some detail as to how you got into this mess.
You've left out too many details for anyone to figure it out.

If I am in Outlook 2002 and right click the "personal
folders" folder there is no "close" option. Nor do the
sub-folders (eg. inbox) allow a right-click close.

Then.. in Word 2002 how do I get rid of the error message
which says "unable to display the contents of this
addresss book...""

The KB fix is #301447. The address book does not show
all addresses... apparently only those with email
addresses.

Thanks
