My manager has a situation and he asked me for help.
He is running Outlook 2003. He recently got a new laptop. We reinstalled
Outlook. He is connecting to an exchange server. He has personal contacts and
he can click on the option of "contact" and he will have a list of all his
previous entries of contacts.
Now what is odd is that if we go in the following options: Address book -
Show Names from the:
He does not have the option of selecting contacts.
So then within Address book we click on Tools - Options and we get the
adressing window. Within this window we are unable to add "Contact" in any of
the options. Options such as "Keep personal addresses in:" and "When sending
mail, check names using these address lists in the following order:"
Now the only thing I could guess is to manually point to the file that
contains his personal addresses within contact or something to the likes of
that. Anyhow, I will be checking my email for replies so ask any questions
and I will try to answer as quickly as possible.
TIA.
