Have two Web sites that required Personal certificates for access. Both
worked fine previously. Now after clicking on OK for the certificate the
Page Cannot be Displayed page shows. I have two PCs with this problem. All
other PCs are able to sign on to these sites as usual so I am guessing it
might be some kind of update. I have tried many of the fixes listed in
support. Such as resetting settings etc. I see that this has happened to
others. Wondering if anyone has any additional information. Windows XP
Laptops - Have not installed anything recently. Have also checked for
Spyware / Adware but appear to be clean. Appreciate any assistance.

Hi Brad :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:

Check your computer clock and date setting. It is very important that the
time of your computer clock is correct. Every Certificate has an expiration
and start date. When your clock time or date is off, even just a few
minutes or hours, it may cause the Certificates to be seen as invalid or
expired, which can cause various problems. So, be sure your machine date
and time are always set correctly.

also..

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab>scroll down to 'Warn about invalid
site
certificates" and make sure it is Unchecked.

You might also try adding adding the site to the Trusted Sites in the
Tools>Internet Options>Security tab and see if that helps as well.

Check your security settings.

Jan,
Thank you for the reply. I tried all with no luck. Have obtained a new
certificate and now able to access site. The only strange this is that now a
choice of two certificates shows up on the screen. If you try to go in to
delete the bad one in Internet Tools is is not listed. Strange that it is
listed as a choice but not listed as an item to remove.

Thanks again
Brad
