My records in the Personal Address Book are suddenly missing. They are not in
the Contacts folder.
How can I get them back ?

How can I get them back ?

the steps you used to "lose" your Contacts. Be sure to include your Outlook
version.

Benson Au said:Hi Russ,
I am currectly using Outlook 2002.
When I click the icon 'Address Book', I choose the 'Personal Address Book'
in below of 'Global Address List'. I had some record store in the
'Personal
Address Book' that I have a file in PAB store in my D:\Exchange folder.
Now the file seems an empty file with only 32 KB.
I hope you get what I wrote in the above step.

Russ Valentine said:I see. Outlook abandoned the PAB as an information store years ago in favor
of Contact Folders. I know of no methods for repairing or recovering PAB
files. Have you checked with your Exchange administrator to see if your PAB
was included in the backup of your Exchange mailbox?
