Persitent "favicon"

Persistent "favicon" from Google keeps resetting.
Cleared TIFF from DOS and IE with IE closed.
Icon keeps coming back - an annoyance.

Any fixes?

Hi Mac,
Tried FavOrg - didn't like it, too buggy. I have a copy if you like.
e-mail me with a valid address and I'll zip it off to you :-)

Tried FavOrg - didn't like it, too buggy. I have a copy if you like.

I find it OK? keep the 'buggy' one :-))
 
Hi Siljaline - FavOrg buggy????? Please expand on that!! I've used and
recommended it for years and never had any sort of problem, nor had one
reported (until now, anyway :) ).

Was *too* long ago to remember what the issues were, actually, I think that
I just gave it a quick look-see and dumped it.
not that it's 'crappy', I did say 'buggy' - on a trial ;)

Never had a problem with it.

Another great utility that I use to Search for Favorites is AM-Deadlink.

Not interested in *creating* any more fav icons that what I'm try to get rid of.

Doesn't create FavIcons but really helps in searching the Favorites. It
also shows duplicate entries and I have a tendency to add-to-favorites
several times when I like site.
