I have one computer that has recurring problems with locked files. The user
will open the file and make a change and then close it. That same person will
then try to move/copy the file elsewhere and he/she will gets an error saying
the file is in use. I check on the server and it shows that the file is still
in use by the same user. My question is why doesn't Word tell the server the
file is no longer in use?
Thanks in advance.
