OK, Here's the problem:
I've got a Win2000 NW with about 50 Nodes and 3 Servers.
The Servers are Win2K, and the Primary is Win2k Advanced.
All but 4 of the nodes are Win2k. (Others are 98). Lets
call the domain xyz.org. We also have a web site hosted by
an outside company, the web shares our domain name,
www.xyz.org. In side the network we are seeing a version
of the web site that is over 3 weeks old. Outside you see
the newest version. Obivously somewhere in either the
Servers or the GNATBox firewall something is caching and
feeding the older version of the web site to my local
nodes. I've been unable to identify where that's happening
from though. Can anyone help please?

Michael

1) Do the inside users resolve www.xyz.org to the same public IP address?
Could there be an internal web server?
2) Does a "Refresh" on the browser help?
3) Do you have a web proxy with cache?

Since you are using your internal DNS server, did you create a WWW record
under the zone name and give it the IP of the external webserver?

webserver? Yes, still no go.

If that's the case, then I would look at the GNAT box and check it;s cache
settings. Obviously if it's offering caching for the internal folks, then it
must be caching the old page. Try deleting the cache on that thing and try
again.

What I mentioned is the *usual* to get to the outside resource in a
split-horizon scenario (same name). Obviously something else is in the way.
