I can't get one URL to load. Everyone else can. It's the
address to manage my website. The webhost has no answers.
I even downloaded a new browser called "iRider" to see if
it could open it but it could not. The URL (everyone will
have no problem with it) is http://www.finitesite.com .
My OS is WinXP 2003 Pro, 4 user accounts. All adware &
spyware has been removed. If it sounds like a problem
with my OS, please inform & redirect. Thank you.

What error message do you get in the browser? Cannot find site? Site
doesn't respond? Timeout?

I can connect to your web site using Lynx, a text-only safe web browser to
avoid getting nailed by spammers and scum that try to direct you to their
nasty web sites. Can you do a traceroute from your computer to your web
site? From me, the traceroute shows:

Tracing route to www.finitesite.com [66.92.89.178]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

.... and more timeouts

The first few hops are blanked out since you really don't need to know that
portion of my path. You only need to do a traceroute and see where our
paths diverge (as you start from the server and head back up the traceroute)
in order to see what hosts are common between us and where the routes
change. That might indicate that host you go through has a problem whereas
other users are going through a different route and through a different
frontend host that is working.

Once I hit the border27 host, it won't let me drill any farther down the
path (i.e., it blocks the UDP packets for tracing). That isn't necessarily
bad. Many sites will let you drill to their external host but not let you
look inside. However, if it is an ISP and the target site is not on their
domain but somewhere after it through a route that goes through them then
they are interferring with the traceroute and make impossible the tracing to
any site that goes through a route through them. Once I hit 209.191.128.160
(border27), which is allocated to Internap Network Services (pnap.net, which
might be in Atlanta, GA) according to ARIN's WhoIs, my traceroute goes dead.
Your web site of www.finitesite.com has an IP address of 66.92.89.178, so at
first glance it would appear that your web site is not hosted at pnap.net.
An ARIN WhoIs lookup on 66.92.89.178 shows it is owned by Speakeasy Network
in Seattle, WA. So I cannot get to your website since I cannot get past
pnap.net.

I then tried a traceroute through www.samspade.org using its traceroute tool
to see if I could get a different route from there that didn't go through
pnap.net. Below is that traceroute:

That one made it past the border27 host and got to speakeasy-45 host but
that's also on the pnap.net, so maybe SpeakEasy is an affiliate or
subsidiary of Internap. I could get to www.finitesite.com using SamSpade's
safe web browser (shows everything as text only).

So I can connect from my domain and from samspade.org using different routes
but both merge at the border27 host. Where does your traceroute diverge?
