One of my flatmates keeps on doing something to his pc which knackers up his
permissions. He's Chinese, and speaks bad english - so it's hard to get
from him exactly what he's doing. It basically gets rid of the 'run' item
in the start menu, and a few other permissions are wrong - ie. it won't
install an application which must be installed by an administrator, and he
can't change his internet homepage, etc. I've tried logging on as
administator, and going to control panel, 'users and passwords', but he is
still down as part of the administrators group. What else effects
permissions like this? In the past, i've just deleted his account from the
admistrators account, then recreated it. But obviously he loses setting
when I do this.
Thanks for any help,
Dan.
