Hello all.
I am attempting to grant our Unix group the right to
manage some 3rd party backup software services on our W2K
and W2K3 servers. I would like them to be able to open
Computer Management on their own PC, connect to any of
our servers, and then stop start or pause these services.
I have tested granting the "start stop and pause"
permission (on the backup client software) to our Unix
group via local policy and GPO, but am still getting
access denied. I also adjusted the permissions
on "services.exe" so that they had read and execute
permission.
Unfortunately I can find no useful info on this on the
internet or otherwise, so any help would be great. I
know it's probably one stupid thing that I'm missing
here....
Thanks in advance.
